How to post a comment

One or two people have had trouble adding their own thoughts to my blog, so this post is by way of explanation. Firstly, it is my blog, so I am the only person who can initiate new posts. However, once I have added a post, anyone else may then add their own comment to that post. For example, for a selected post, you could say "What a load of rubbish." or "What a great picture. Wish I was with you".

To add a comment, click on the line showing the number of comments, then enter your own text in the box provided.

Note that, until today, it was necessary to register with the blog in order to add comments. However, I have now changed the configuration so that anyone can add comments, whether registered or not.

  3. Enjoy HK Bro. There are lots of places for dimsum as I recall - after all it originated there. I just remember the one we had in the restaurant at the Y was particularly good. Too bad they are not serving it any more.

The masks may not be for swine flu. It seems to be an etiquette in E. Asia, that if you have a cold or other respitory ailment, then out of courtesy to others you wear a mask - not a bad idea I think, especially in crowded Asian cities. I also recall seeing food servers wearing them, presumably to stop them drooling on the food.

As I recall there is a night market in Kowloon - mostly cheap stuff; and another in Stanley at the eastern tip of HK Island. But you will probably find stuff cheaper in Vietnam and especially Cambodia. Its quite an interesting trip though to Stanley on the double decker city bus. The Japanese interned foreigners during WWII in the jail on the headland there.

No doubt youv'e heard Chelsea went out of Champions' League today, losing at home to Inter.

    Eagerly awaiting the next post.

    Yours
